Sender Manual

Goomap is geographic location sender software for windows mobile phone with other value add functions.
Goomap need a Bluetooth or integrated GPS connected to the phone.
To install Goomap you must:
• install before .NET Compact Framework 2.0 downloadable from Microsoft site.
• Copy the vector geographic maps to SD Card
• Change the file res.ini with the path of the maps on SD Card
• Connect the GPS
• Run Goomap

In the main window of Goomap you have some options:

• Connect to GPS
• Connect to www.am-here.com
• Create new tracking and POI file, that you can send later to www.am-here.com

To be able to do geolocalisation of your mobile you must connect to GPS throw then main menu choosing
GPS -> Connect
GPS -> Settings : auto, auto

After you must connect to the site www.am-here.com throw the main menu choosing:

Live -> Connect : UserId and Password and the Security Level

To shutdown the localization you must choose

Live -> Disconnect

To record your tracks you must do :

File -> New -> Track
Put in the form the necessary informations and then

Edit -> Record

When you finish your tour

Edit -> Stop
File -> Save
File -> Close

After that to upload the tracks on www.am-here.com you must connect to the site with

Live -> Connect

And upload the track with

Live -> Upload

And after

Live -> Disconnect

In the same manner of tracks you can record and upload your point of interest.

I.AmHere is a free real time geographic localization service for windows mobile phone and next week may be for any phone with java support and a Bluetooth GPS or integrated GPS.

I.AmHere offer to you a free geolocalisation service for people and objects tracking in real time.

To work at the moment you need a windows mobile phone with a GPS and a internet connection and the GooMap (Sender) software that you can download from this web site.

How it works:

1. You must download the sender and install it on your phone; the instructions are inside the zip file.

2. You must register a nick name on I.AmHere; a mail will be send to you with the password; after that you can change your password.

3. You can now go online with your phone and see your geographic position on www.Am-Here.com.

4. You can add your friend to your profile.

5. You can also decide in every instant when your position is sent in private, to your friend, to all ( when you put your position in security level “Public” only the person near to you can see your tracks).

6. You can also upload your recorded tracks for playback

7. You can upload your point of interest

8. By clicking over any icon you are able to change the icons.

9. By clicking over the security level you are able to change the level.

Ho deciso finalmente di mettere in linea il sito www.am-here.com un mashup di google maps per la geolocalizzazione in tempo reale.

Il sistema funziona con qualsiasi cellulare con sistema operativo windows mobile con gps, integrato o bluetooth utilizzato come sender, attraverso qualsiasi canale internet.

Una volta loggati si puo visualizzare le tracce dei propri amici e i propri POI e scegliere di mettere online la propria posizione che secondo il livello di sicurezza impostato puo essere visualizzata da se stesso, un gruppo privato di amici, tutti gli amici o pubblicamente.

Sul palmare è possibile visualizzare le posizioni degli amici oltre alla propria su una mappa cartografica dell'europa in scala 1:1.000.000

GooMaps Radar

GooMaps Radar è un esempio di Web 2.0 dove gli aerei ultraleggeri possono essere individuati in tempo reale all'interno di una mappa di google.

Il sistema permette, a chiunque invii tramite un'apposita interfaccia le proprie informazioni di navigazione, di essere individuato come su un radar, rispetto ad un sistema tradizionale vi sono molte piu informazioni dell'aereo osservato come la velocità, l'altezza, il roll, il pitch e l'azimut.

Per gli utenti di internet explorer inoltre è disponibile un plugin che permette la visualizzazione del cockpit.

In stile Web 2.0 inoltre vi è la possibilità di aggiungere ulteriori informazioni alle mappe come le aviosuperfici e le città, da queste viene inoltre fornita la distanza e l'azimut dall'aereo selezionato.

goomaps Radar, funziona

Oggi il primo volo reale tracciato sulle mappe di google, il sistema funziona.

Il volo è stato seguito sulle mappe in tempo reale fino a una quota di 250 mt sul livello del mare.

La posizione geografica e i principali dati di volo si sono potuti vedere sulla pagina di goomaps.

Nella versione con il cockpit è stato possibile seguire tutte le fasi dei voli di prova con tutta la strumentazione funzionante.

Le pagine per la visione del concetto mappe & aerei sono molteplici, ora oltre a google maps, ho replicato la stessa idea in Google Earth.

Il progetto FlyControl su www.goomaps.com è in continua evoluzione.

GeoWeb

Lo sviluppo del plugin, GeoWeb, per Google Desktop Search 2.0 è terminato.

Lo sviluppo della nuova versione ha richiesto piu tempo di quanto era stato previsto, tempo dovuto principalmente a problemi legati al fornitore del servizio di risoluzione geografica degli IP.

La nuova implementazione risolve gli IP direttamente in locale senza la necessità di collegarsi a WebServices. Per il momento la risoluzione locale fornisce solo la nazione del sito internet a cui si è connessi.

Per maggiorni informazioni circa la località geografica dell'ultimo sito visitato, come ad esempio le coordinate, la città e il provider occorre cliccare sulla sidebar, a seguito del click viene aperto un browser che permette di visualizzare su una mappa di Google il punto esatto in cui si trova il sito in oggetto.
